Job Summary :
Responsible for constructing docks and managing repairs related to dock. this role involves supervising a team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Duties include overseeing project operations and activities, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements :
- Required Experience : Prior experience as a Foreman and at least 3 years in the construction industry.
- Education : High school diploma or GED.
- Leadership : Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
- Carpentry Skills : Hands-on experience with carpentry materials.
- Technical Knowledge : In-depth understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Safety Compliance : Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Attention to Detail : Strong focus on precision in dock operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Driver’s License : Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Tools and Transportation : Required to have and use personal hand tools, work boots and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
This position is well-suited for someone who is :
Work Location : Newport Beach, CA, with possible assignments in Long Beach, CA, depending on business needs.
Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.
Hourly Rate : $30 / HR
