You'll need to be knowledgeable about craft beers, liquors, and wines, offering recommendations and sharing insights into flavor profiles. It is also important to ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying the legal drinking age and avoiding over-serving guests. Your goal will be to provide outstanding service and create a welcoming, engaging, environment for all guests. This includes answering inquiries about menu items, ingredients, allergens, and Apex Entertainment policies, and offering personalized recommendations to make every guest's experience special.
Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You'll also assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory management, restocking supplies, and evaluating product quality. Flexibility is key, as you may be involved in corporate or private events as needed. It's important to stay aware of the facility's activities and address any concerns promptly.
As a team player, you'll communicate effectively with your coworkers to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive work environment. You may also be assigned additional tasks by management to help with the overall success of the establishment.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume establishment, with TIPS certification.
- Strong cash handling skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays (weekend availability is a must).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (40 pounds).
- Excellent multitasking abilities, maintaining composure in busy situations.
