Summary
The Lead Warehouse Associate will play a critical role as the point of contact for any issues or concerns raised by team members and will be responsible for reporting them in a timely and effective manner to the Operations Manager. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires strong leadership skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to motivate and coach a team. The Lead Warehouse Associate will ensure that the customer's IT support needs are executed in a professional and timely manner. They will oversee the safe, timely, and well-executed completion of tasks assigned to employees, maintaining a positive attitude in all situations and leading by example. The Lead Warehouse Associate is responsible for a high level of workmanship and conducts daily review meetings with the customer to ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction levels. This individual interacts directly with customers to deliver and retrieve specified equipment in a timely and professional manner. This role continually works to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a superior client experience and protecting business assets through consistently safe practices .
Essential Functions
- Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Safely travel between multiple locations using a personal vehicle as assigned .
- Appraise staff effectively through monthly 1 : 1 meetings.
- Make timely suggestions for corrective action as necessary, in accordance with company policy, and consult with the Operations Manager as appropriate.
- Take ownership of assignment results and details, following through to completion.
- React to varying projects and make decisions to solve problems and adapt to changes in the scope of work.
- Identify and immediately report all quality and safety concerns to Supervisor.
- Operate all material handling equipment (e.g., hydraulic pallet jack) proficiently and safely.
- Wear and enforce proper uniform and safety PPE requirements.
- Ensure that safe handling, loading, and securing of assets is adhered to throughout the pickup, in transit, and upon delivery completion. This includes proper shrink-wrapping and padding to prevent product damage.
- Carry out assignments with little or no supervision; take ownership of assignment results and details.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with employees, supervisors, and customer points of contact as required.
- Ensure daily duties assigned to oneself and employees are completed professionally and efficiently, contributing to on-the-fly decision-making when necessary.
- Perform any warehouse-related functions that may be required to achieve customer acceptance and satisfaction.
- Maintain a high priority and emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
Report all customer requests and complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives to the Operations Manager and / or Supervisor; follow up to ensure resolution.

Work Requirements :
Work is normally performed in a warehouse environment. Heavy physical activity required. Must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift 75 lbs. and / or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
