Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities to ensure a steady, cost-effective supply of materials.
- Maintain and audit inventory records for accuracy and reliability.
- Establish, maintain, and negotiate long-term vendor agreements with attention to detail and adherence to standards.
- Identify inefficiencies in procurement and inventory management and implement practical process improvements.
- Follow and improve structured procurement procedures, ensuring documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align material needs with operational timelines.
- Track procurement and inventory metrics using data analysis to inform decisions and reduce waste.
- Maintain meticulous records through inventory management systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct market research to evaluate vendor capabilities and maintain sourcing consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and long-term vendor relationships.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
- High attention to detail, precision, and process consistency.
