Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise and financial acumen, ensuring that the office runs smoothly while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.
  • Oversee financial activities including budgeting, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Utilize software such as Quicken and Sage for account analysis and financial management.
  • Maintain accurate records of debits and credits, ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and organization.
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an office management or similar role, with a strong background in accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial report writing and account analysis is essential.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and general ledger accounting practices.
  • Experience with Quicken, Sage, or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
