As a SVP- Business Development at Apex, you are selling comprehensive fund services for open-end and closed-end funds to Alternative Asset Managers, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Assets, and Digital Assets Strategies. To be successful, managing a referral network with fund formation lawyers, fund auditors, and prime brokers is essential. Responsibilities
The Business Development position is client-facing and has the following responsibilities :
- Acquire new clients to achieve your yearly new revenue target
- Manage your sales pipeline process by identifying prospects, qualifying new business opportunities, drafting proposals and closing deals (new fund lunches or making clients switch to Apex)
- Manage the sales process end to end, including researching prospects, uncover buyer's needs, tailoring marketing materials, deliver the value proposition, up- and cross-selling, managing RFPs, and leading a multidisciplinary (intercontinental) deal team
- Monitoring relevant market development and trends in the alternative investment management industry
- Increase brand value by (co-)organizing events
- Develop and manage a network of investment managers, fund sponsors, trustees, counsels, auditors, and other key industry players
- Collaborate with colleagues across regions and areas of specialization to achieve business objectives
- Have robust knowledge of Apex's offering and value proposition
- Log sales activities in our CRM-software Salesforce

Salary range from USD 150,000.00 - USD 175,000.00 plus additional market competitive variable uncapped compensation based on performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
