Your Role & Responsibilities :
As a CNA, youll play a key role in supporting our residents' daily needs and ensuring their well-being. Your responsibilities will include :
Patient Care : Provide outstanding care to residents, offering physical support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and moving.Assisting with Mobility : Help bedridden patients with turning and repositioning to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.Personal Hygiene : Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks like using the toilet, brushing teeth, or grooming, ensuring dignity and comfort.Nutritional Support : Ensure residents follow their dietary restrictions, review food allergies, and assist with mealtimes as needed.Communication : Gather and share important information from patients, families, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.Monitoring Health : Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration), report changes to medical staff, and monitor food and liquid intake, as well as urinary and fecal output.Medications : Remind patients to take medications or supplements as prescribed.Observations : Keep track of patient behaviors, physical symptoms, or complaints and communicate these to the nursing team.Continued Education : Stay up-to-date on CNA training, facility policies, and procedures to provide the highest standard of care.What Were Looking For :
We need a caring, dependable CNA who is able to work independently as well as within a team. You must be able to communicate effectively, stay calm in high-pressure situations, and have a genuine desire to help others.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Certification : Current state-certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.CPR : Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.Education : High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNA program required.Communication Skills : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.Technical Skills : Comfortable using a computer to document patient care.Hygiene & Professionalism : Excellent personal hygiene and a professional attitude.Dependability : Ability to work independently and take direction from nursing staff as needed.If you are a dedicated, compassionate CNA who is passionate about making a positive impact, we want to hear from you!
