Regional MDS Coordinator – Skilled Nursing Facilities (South Florida)
We are seeking an experienced Regional MDS Coordinator to oversee the MDS assessment process across multiple skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) in South Florida. This leadership role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, maintains the accuracy of patient assessments, and optimizes Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support facility MDS coordinators to ensure accurate and timely MDS assessments.
- Monitor compliance with CMS guidelines and assist in survey readiness.
- Provide training on MDS 3.0, PDPM, and reimbursement regulations.
- Analyze MDS data to enhance quality outcomes and reimbursement accuracy.
- Collaborate with administrators, DONs, and therapy teams to optimize resident care.
Qualifications:
- RN or LPN with MDS certification (preferred).
- 3–5 years of MDS coordination experience, ideally in a regional or multi-facility role.
- RAC-CT certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and training skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
