Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing and assembling various structures and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, garment construction, and millwork, along with proficiency in using power tools and machinery. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble building components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize power tools and machinery, including CNC equipment, to perform precise cuts and measurements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished products for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Operate calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions during construction.
- Assist in the training of new team members on best practices for building techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter or builder with a strong understanding of garment construction and millwork.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and machining processes.
- Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and CNC machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
