ABA Behavior Technician Qualifications
Overview:
Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, this ABA Behavior Technician provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children (and adolescents) diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and client are seen 3-5 days in a week. Sessions primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location. Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).

- Must have Reliable transportation
- Must have at least a High School Degree or equivalent
- Must be available for at least 10 hours a week
- Must be able to work 2- 3 weekdays in the afternoon to evening hours
- Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required.
- Paid Training
- Pay starts at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour with increases of $1-$4 in the first 3-6 months.

ABA Behavior Technician Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with individuals with needs
- Experience working with children
- Ability to attend an initial orientation
- Timely and organized
- Ability to work independently
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
- Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Working with families for effective collaboration
- Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Electronic Data collection
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Implementing skill acquisition programs
