AKABA LLC. welcomes reliable and dynamic professionals to join us as part-time ABA Therapists or Behavior Techs. ABA therapists provide 1-to-1 ABA services in the home, center, and community settings to individuals diagnosed with Autism (ASD).

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour to start with the ability to increase your hourly rate by $1-3 dollars in a period of 3-6 months as you gain experience in the field.
Ability to work a minimum of 10-15 hours/at least 3 days per week (weekdays are after school hours between 3-8 p.m.). Daytime hours on Saturdays also preferred.
Qualifications for the ABA Tech include:
- Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with children!!
- Has reliable transportation- meaning your own/family vehicle that is currently registered and available to you throughout the sessions as some clients require transport for certain services.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism)
- Ability to attend an initial orientation.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (after school hours between 2:30-8 pm)
- Must be timely and organized.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations.
- Other relevant experience: working as a Teacher's Aide, Education Assistant, Child Care worker, Tutor, Instructor, Home Care Worker, Mental Health Therapist, Nursing Assistant
Responsibilities: ABA Techs - Behavior Therapists will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and will be directly responsible for:
- Data collection
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Implementing skill acquisition programs
- Working with families for effective collaboration on client
- Submitting all required paperwork promptly
- Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
Experiences as a Paraprofessional, Assistant Teacher, Rehabilitative Assistant, Educational Associate, and/or Direct Support Professionals is highly applicable to this role.
