What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Administrator position at Apex Laser Tag LLC?
Apex Laser Tag is now hiring for the part-time position of Game Administrator at our Sycamore Mall/Iowa City Marketplace location in Iowa City, IA. We are seeking applicants who have refined customer service skills, are patient and can help assist both kids and adults, and enjoy being a part of a company that strives to create a fun escape from everyday life for customers.
This position has variable hours and candidates would be expected to work a mix of weeknight and weekend times. The average hours per week will fluctuate between 10-20 hours depending on customer need/bookings and employee availability. Shift times will generally fall between 6pm and 10pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays and Sundays between 12pm and 10pm.
The Game Admin position responsibilities are as follows:
- Run/operate the laser tag games for groups and parties
- Check in customers at the door and utilize POS systems to collect client payments
- Assist the customers with any questions regarding the equipment or issues that may come up during the parties/open play times
- Effectively communicate rules and gameplay objectives to clients of all ages (5 )
- Ensure that all common areas are clean and presentable for customer use
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
