Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Associate Attorney at Apex Law Firm, located in Tampa, FL. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating on behalf of clients, and primarily handling criminal defense as well as personal injury cases. This is a hybrid role, with the option for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Legal knowledge and expertise in criminal law
- Ability to provide sound legal advice and excellent customer service
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Trial experience
- Valid Florida Bar License without prior disciplinary history
Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Experience in criminal law, felony level prosecution experience is preferred
- Admission to the Federal Middle District of Florida
- There is also a preference for bilingual candidates
If you're presently an assistant state attorney or an assistant public defender, this is your opportunity to break into plaintiff's civil practice without being thrown into the deep end. We will provide you with a mixed criminal and civil caseload and help show you the civil practice.
Pay is commensurate with experience as well as results Pay will also be hybrid with a base salary plus performance pay, there is no ceiling on how much you can make.We want to see you be successful.
Offers will be made to qualified candidates after interview(s). We do not offer benefits. You must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida with experience to be considered.
