Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Onboarding/Hiring Specialist to join our operations team. As an integral part of our company, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding and hiring process of our third party contractors (1099 contractors). Your role will involve working closely with various departments to ensure the seamless integration of contractors into our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and dispatchers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pool.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as part of the hiring process.
- Coordinate and run interviews.
- Manage and maintain applicant tracking systems and databases.
- Create and facilitate onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, introducing company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the development of training materials and resources for new hires.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
