Our roots go back to Apex Supply Chain Technologies, whose founder patented the first industrial vending technology more than 25 years ago. We introduced our first click & collect smart lockers in 2015, then rolled out similar technology for food order pickup soon after. As we gained more customers, we decided to create a separate business unit completely focused on their markets and needs. Our solutions provide self-serve order pickup with no waiting, no confusion, and no contact. Position Summary
The newly created role of VP, Finance, Operations, and Administration will oversee accounting/treasury, facilities, warehouse logistics, contract administration, and solution financing/leasing. Reporting to the CFO, this position will be responsible for day-to-day management of these critical business functions. You will also have a “seat at the table” of our Senior Leadership team.
As an early-stage tech company, we are in a period of rapid growth which demands a rare combination of qualities from the leader we seek strong technical expertise in finance, operations and administration, superior command of process and systems execution, and the ability to adapt to constantly evolving business requirements. If you are most comfortable in environments where business changes are infrequent, this position is not for you. What You Will Be Doing
- Establish and deliver technology-driven process improvement and automation.
- Manage multiple corporate functions: Finance Operations, Administration, Contract Negotiations, and management.
- Direct management of Corporate Controller and finance department, operations (inventory management, warehouse, and logistics), banking and underwriting relationships, and administrative functions.
- Identify, develop, and implement efficient, streamlined processes and systems to ensure the superior execution of the business.
- Own regulatory reporting requirements (including lenders and underwriters) to efficiently drive the documentation, contract review and approval process to conclusion and management of customer, partner, and corporate agreements.
- Work with the CFO and leadership team to shape and reinforce the culture by developing and mentoring a diverse group of functional leaders
- Evaluate and manage Corporate Business insurance, establish risk management policies, and contractual relationships.
- A bachelor's degree in finance and at least 10 years of experience with a demonstrable record of progressive responsibilities are required. MBA strongly preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional corporate teams, Finance, Facilities, operational, and Administrative services.
- Expert-level understanding of contract negotiations, terms, and conditions.
- Proven experience in creating, training, and implementing and scaling internal processes, controls, information processing systems.
- Experience in a start-up or high growth environment.
- Previous experience leading as an individual contributor, mentoring, developing capabilities of the team.
- A leader who maintains focus in an environment where ambiguity is expected and thrives while managing multiple concurrent projects.
- A leader that enjoys mentoring and growing capabilities of those they lead through controlled exposure and experience
- Ability to work effectively under critical deadlines.
- Proven ability to optimize processes, drive operational efficiency, and implement best practices.

- Ability to travel periodically as required
- Experience working with an ERP system. Power BI and MS office suite.
