HIRING RANGE: $17.80 - $20.39 PER HOUR
Work Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 7:30am to 3:30pm
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 5:00am to 1:00pm
Delivers excellent customer service and accurate information to all patrons and guests through face-to-face interactions, telephone, and email on various district activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consistently delivers excellent customer service in all interactions with patrons, guests, and visitors.
Accurately and proficiently handles all transactions within the registration system (ACTIVENet).
Continually reviews information about all district facilities, programs, and staff to meet the needs of district patrons effectively and efficiently.
Handles cash, check, and credit card transactions according to established protocol.
Enters transfers and processes registration refunds as needed.
Responds to all incoming calls and emails effectively and efficiently, forwarding inquiries to the applicable staff as necessary.
Maintains a clean, well-stocked, and organized work area, routinely cleaning areas under the responsibility of Guest Services as assigned.
Assists with operating admissions at the Apex Center and other facilities as scheduled.
Compliance with district rules and regulations.
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with supervisor, district employees, and patrons.
Maintains a working knowledge of all guest services policies and procedures.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) as scheduled.
Serves on district committees, workgroups, and special projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: The guest services specialist does not supervise full- or part-time staff but is expected to lead while working simultaneously with part-time staff.

Possesses strong customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
Basic computer competency in word processing, data entry, district registration, and employee scheduling software.
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to make rational decisions based on the individual's best interest(s) under stressful circumstances.A high school diploma is required, along with one year of related experience. Additionally, candidates must possess a current and valid Colorado driver's license. CPR, first aid, and AED certifications are required, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include experience working in a guest services or related position at a recreation center or in a recreational environment.Works in a climate-controlled environment—occasional outdoor environments for special events.
