Apex Gymnastics and Cheer program is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Coaches to join our team. Our ideal candidate is reliable, organized, positive, and patient, with a passion for working with children ages 5-12. As a Summer Camp Coach, you will be responsible for guiding campers through various activities and events, teaching and demonstrating skills, and ensuring a fun and safe environment.

About Apex Gymnastics and Cheer: Apex Gymnastics and Cheer is located at the Simms Street Recreation Center and is dedicated to providing high-quality gymnastics and cheerleading camps. We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where children can develop their skills, confidence, and love for the sport
Responsibilities:
- Teach, demonstrate, and spot gymnastics and cheer skills.
- Follow a structured schedule and manage daily activities.
- Engage campers in group games, activities, crafts, and open gym.
- Build relationships with campers, fostering their development in work ethic, listening skills, confidence, and body control.
- Enforce gym rules.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp or sports setting.
Experience in participating in or coaching gymnastics or cheerleading.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Salary : $15 - $20
