APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Southfield, MI looking to add an experienced Hotel General Manager to their already amazing team. What your day will look like:
- Interviewing, hiring, terminating and training employees
- Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues as they arise
- Developing and managing operating budgets in conjunction with department managers and the Director or Operations
- Overseeing the franchises overall financial performance including revenue management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and purchasing
- Holding department heads accountable for revenue and departmental meetings
- Ensuring compliance with franchise agreements through quality and service programs
- Controlling funds, authorizing expenditures and assisting in planning budgets for various departments
- Approving purchases of supplies and equipment
- Manage a large team in a variety of departments across the hotel franchise
- Holding weekly staff meetings
What we are looking for:
- 5 years of Hotel General Manager experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience supervising large teams
- Full service hotel experience required
