What your day will look like:
- Oversee raw material planning and procurement to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels, considering demand forecasts, fluctuations, and lead times.
- Place purchase orders and monitor their status, proactively addressing any supplier-related issues.
- Negotiate with suppliers to enhance pricing, terms, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Use ERP systems (preferably IQMS) to manage purchasing and material planning processes.
- Create Excel-based reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations, utilizing tools like VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and basic VBA coding (optional).
- Analyze data to improve forecasting accuracy and optimize inventory management.
- Collaborate with teams across Revere Plastics locations to drive supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Assist in standardizing procurement practices and reducing material costs across sites.
- Support cycle counting and initiatives to maintain inventory accuracy.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related Engineering field.
- 3 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proficient in ERP systems (IQMS preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities for effective supplier management.
- Experienced in forecasting, MRP, and implementing inventory management best practices.
