As a Plumbing Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our plumbing department, including managing a team of technicians, scheduling service calls, estimating job costs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with dispatchers to efficiently complete plumbing repairs and installations. All of this is done while adhering to industry standards and local plumbing codes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee technician performance on every job, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Lead weekly sales meetings to review repair trends, channel sales, and system performance.
- Assist technicians in creating the most effective system designs for customer needs.
- Communicate marketing campaigns and promotions to the team.
- Track, analyze, and review branch sales KPIs, including gross close rates and average ticket size.
- Present repair and replacement options to customers virtually or by phone.
- Conduct bi-monthly sales reviews and ongoing coaching for technicians.
- Monitor compliance with company standards and ensure accurate job data collection.
- Time manage technician schedules and provide real-time support.
- Participate in technical training sessions to enhance team skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of Plumbing Management Experience in skilled trades or similar industry.
- Residential Plumbing Experience Preferred.
- Exceptional sales and business acumen.
- Demonstrate a great attitude and the ability to communicate effectively to a multitude of individuals consistently.
- The ability to hold yourself and your team accountable to achieve company goals.
- A forward thinker with the ability to embrace growth and change.
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of computer systems and software.
Physical Demands:
- Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the
- May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
- May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
- May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying or pushing
- Must have the ability to maneuver in and out of ditches, dig ditches, and assist with other physical operations associated with installing/repairing/and or maintaining in-ground septic systems and lines.

Pay Transparency:
The annual salary/hourly pay opportunity for this role ranges from$70k-$90K The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
