We are seeking an Assistant Hospitality Manager to join our team and help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Position Summary
The Assistant Hospitality Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our operations. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will assist in managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and fostering excellent communication with guests, vendors, and property owners.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure all properties meet company standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and guest readiness.
- Identify and address areas for improvement and implement solutions proactively.
Vendor Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate cleaning and maintenance vendors to ensure timely property turnovers.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality service.
Reservation Assistance:
- Assist in managing guest reservations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for each listing and the central warehouse.
- Coordinate inventory restocking, including linens, toiletries, and other essential supplies.
Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for guests and property owners, maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Handle owner inquiries and updates regarding property conditions and operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, property management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in property management software and basic office applications (experience with Guesty is a plus).
