Entry Level Cell Tower Technician

Experience requirements vary based on position, but experience is not critical for entry-level technicians. As a Tower Technician, a typical day-to-day may include the following : Climbing and working on communication towers to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wireless systemsAssembling / erecting various tower types, including self-support, monopoles, guyed towers, etc.Reading construction documents and installing all customer requirementsInstalling antennas, coax, fiber optic cables, DC power, AC power, etc., at elevated heights of over 100 feetWorking closely with a small team to accomplish assigned tasksAdhering to all company and industry (i.e., OSHA, NATE) standards / regulationsPerforming miscellaneous labor tasks, including digging, conduit installation, etc.Performing manual labor to help maintain the work / construction site clean and organized Apex might be a fit for you if : You are ready to start your careerYou have some construction experienceYou have the desire to learn and growYou work well with others in a collaborative environmentYou are safety-obsessedYou have a high school diploma or equivalentAbility to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50lb. load TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : All technicians must be able to travel 95% of the time for work. You will be out of town / away from home for work and staying in a hotel Monday- Friday. This is consistent every week in a variety of different areas and states. All work travel is paid for by the company, and a daily per diem is provided.
