Top Arkansas pediatric full-service therapy clinic seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join their team. Excellent opportunity for someone who is a team player and has experience in medical billing.
Job Duties:
- Obtain PCP referral renewals, Prior Authorization renewals, Extension of Benefits renewals, etc. in a timely manner to avoid delays in client care and/or claims processing
- Billing & Insurance Claims Processing
- Credentialing Tasks
- Accept Payments, Post Payments, & Submit Initial and Secondary Insurance Claims for Services
- Address/troubleshoot/correct rejected & denied claims daily Keep client accounts up to date (accounts receivable); charge co-pays, late fees, etc. daily
- 1 year of experience in medical billing, claims and prior authorizations
- Excellent data entry, typing (accuracy and speed), and computer skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. *There is no on-the-job training for these basic programs.
- Professionalism in all communication (oral and written), customer service skills, conduct, and personal presentation
- The ability to research, collect data, and troubleshoot
- The ability to organize work projects by prioritizing tasks
- An eagerness to efficiently meet productivity goals/complete projects
- A self-starter, independent work style
- A solution-oriented approach to projects and business growth hurdles
- Starting salary of $17.00/hr
