- Answering phone calls and e-mails
- Making phone calls to remind parent/caregivers of a patient's upcoming appointments
- Scheduling appointments for therapy sessions and evaluations, or re-evaluations
- Liaise and coordinate with therapists and parents/caregivers about any schedule changes
- Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
- Keeping an eye out for clients who have frequent late cancels or no-calls/no-shows
- Providing instructions to parents/caregivers to ensure that they are informed on where and when to be for a therapy appointment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous scheduling experience in a clinic or medical setting
- Excellent communication skills, (written and oral), particularly phone skills
- A strong desire to be helpful and courteous
- Patience and ability to manage stress
- Problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Ability to multitask
- $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
