Position Description: MS Tech is seeking a senior AEM software engineer to provide strong technical AEM support to Global Own product teams. Global Own product suites provide end to end digital owner experience to Ford/Lincoln customers globally through web and mobile engagement. With authenticated and unauthenticated journeys, Global Own platform enables the customers in 60 markets to learn about their vehicles, access critical and connected vehicle information, and take appropriate actions to keep their vehicles running at their best. Global Own platform, running on Google Cloud Platform, is built upon headless micro-frontend architecture using Next.js and Adobe Experience Manager. As a senior AEM software engineer, you will work closely with Product Owners/Managers, regional stakeholders, Engineering Delivery Managers, Enterprise Architects, and fellow engineers to lead the delivery of scalable and secured customer-facing solutions utilizing AEM headless architecture, provide technical guidance to the entire engineering team, and mentor junior software engineers. You should have established experience in inspiring changes and have experience leading the development of innovative ideas from concept to fruition. You will help the advancement of the following:
Lead the initiative to migrate current on-prem AEM platform to AEM Cloud platform
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other product teams to standardize AEM implementation strategy
Define and develop solutions based on sound application architecture
Work with Platform Engineering team to automate testing, security compliance, CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring, support infrastructure upgrade, and support development metrics
Provide 2nd-tier support for production issues
Collaborate with various enterprise groups to ensure the security and legal compliance of the products
Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and mentor junior software engineers to help developing technical talents
Skills Required:
5 years of experience in:o Maven, Java, Jenkins, GitHubo AEM frameworks (OSGI, Sling, JCR, Felix, HTL)o Groovy, Adobe I/O, Apache WebServero REST-Based web serviceso Headless Architectureo Custom components implementation, integration with third-party systemso Next.js or React
Experience in:o AEM Cloud development and Cloud Service operationso AEM Cloud Manager o AEM Cloud security model and integrationo AEM integration with 3rd party tools such as MS Teams, Slack.o AEM Best Practice Analyzero CDNs such as Akamai/Fastlyo FOSSA, Sonarqube, Chekcmarx
