Overview :
This role will be responsible for creating and updating Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) specific to the processes and procedures for the Build room and Tech Stop. Additionally, they will maintain accurate device inventory counts and deliver bi-weekly metrics reports. These tasks are critical to ensure efficient operations and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making in our expanded device management responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
- Knowledge Management : The role will be crucial in creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation, ensuring that our team and end-users have access to accurate, current information. This will improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall service quality.
- Asset Tracking and Compliance : By maintaining the device inventory sheet, the individual will play a vital role in asset management, enabling better budgeting, planning, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Streamlined Documentation : The oversight of all necessary paperwork and documentation will free up technical staff from administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on their core competencies. This will lead to improved productivity and more efficient onboarding processes across the entire company.
- Managing Device Setup Process : This role will be responsible for managing the device setup process for new hires and breakfix cases. This includes organizing and facilitating "classes" to guide users through setting up their new devices, whether they're new hires or receiving replacement devices. The setup process covers basic configuration of Outlook, Microsoft Office suite, and other essential software, ensuring a smooth transition from a new machine to a fully operational workstation.
