Position: Business/Data Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Contract Length: 3 month C2H
Top Requirements:
SQL Joining tables Create queries from scratch Be able to query DBs from Dbeaver, web SQL Data warehousing and data structure experience Can explain what Star Schema is Translate the requirements from the business into something we can build out with assistance Communication (written, verbal) Direct interaction with business partners to clarify and translate requirements to things we can design from Build out conceptual data models in SQL and DBs
Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This position is within our capital development team and will be working on projects that are on the roadmap with rough requirements, but need to be designed. This person will be expected to gather requirements, understand the business needs, collaborate with architects/developers to come up with designs for the reporting and data sides and help facilitate something that works for both ends. This group does not do the data ingestion, but rather manipulates/move the data once it is in the system. This team collaborates with the data source team to verbalize requirements to ensure all data is available. There is a lot of coordination within our team and others to ensure the correct expected outcomes and lack of gaps, duplications or missing fields, etc. that may impact ability to achieve the goal.
