Apex Systems is seeking to add a Business Process Analyst to our esteemed healthcare client’s team located in Pasadena, CA. This is a FULLY REMOTE position, but candidates must be willing to operate PST hours. This opportunity would take place onsite five days per week. We’re looking to submit qualified candidates as early as this week.
Compensation: $50/hr (overtime rate of “time and a half” when/if applicable)
Schedule: M-F normal business hours, fully remote

Essential Functions:
- Provides consultation to clients, including organizational leadership and guides work towards actionable outcomes.
- Regularly measures the impact of business decisions on clients and customers.
- Evaluates effectiveness of actions/programs implemented & makes recommendations.
- Collaborates with clients and staff to identify opportunities and methods to improve efficiencies with analysis.
- Provides support to peers and mentoring to junior staff including technical & programming assistance, project management and documentation review and support.
- Directs and executes creative analytic approaches that lead to actionable outcomes which further promote organizational goals.
- Proactively recognizes potential issues, develops plans to address and understands how to communicate these steps to department leadership and clients.
- Analyzes and develops complex logical dB designs, data models, and relational data def in support of corporate and client area info systems requirements.
- Participates in the development of outcomes and process measures, including technical specifications, to enable measurement and evaluation.
- Builds sophisticated statistical models and forecasting tools using databases.
- Defines and frames complex multi-dimensional healthcare issues and develops timetables/processes for decision making.
Experience
- Minimum three to five years (3-5) of work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years’ work experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of general work experience
- 2-3 years’ work experience in healthcare industry
- ITIL and/or Sig Sigma certification
- IT (Information Technology) savvy
- Working knowledge of MS Office products
- Splunk (Monitoring), Tableau, SQL, Service Now, MS Office Products, Excel (Pivot Table, vlookup, chart, graph), Visio, Jira, SharePoint
