Apex Systems seeks a Cloud Systems Architect to support our contract. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about working as part of a modern, fast-paced agile software development team.
As a Cloud Systems Architect, you will be an integral part of the development team, responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Agile software engineering disciplines and Cloud Technologies.
- Collaborating with both development and engineering staff to identify, assess, and integrate wide-ranging technologies and advanced concepts that facilitate the development, refactoring, and re-architecting of systems across different security domains.
- Leveraging broad knowledge across Agile Software Engineering disciplines and Cloud Technologies to advise on Infrastructure Services and Architecture that enable the successful migration of applications and services to the Cloud.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
- A Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or related field.
- Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience developing and delivering software on Amazon Web Services or similar cloud services.
