What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Aided Design Drafter position at Apex Systems?
Our client is looking for a CAD Drafter/Operator to support the JS J7 Joint Training DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT).
This role is 100% onsite.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for various AV installation drawings.
- Maintain the Risk Mitigation Framework drawings for JS accreditations.
- Assist engineers in the design and production of fabrication drawings.
Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
- Security CE
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
And
- Functional area certification (required prior to start date)
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or five years of CAD experience.
Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
