Intro:

Apex Systems is looking for quality IT professionals with a background either working a datacenter, or supporting computer hardware in a professional capacity! This will be a contract working on a W2 basis and will be working on-site in Hermiston, OR.

Job Description:

Title: Datacenter Operations Technician

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Hermiston, OR

Pay Rate: up to 26/hr

Shift(s): NIGHT SHIFT- Wed - Sat, or Sun - Wed

• Hours of Operation are 5p - 6a

Summary: These technicians will be supporting the datacenter support and maintenance of various systems surrounding the operations of the datacenters on the technical end. Datacenter Technicians will be working hands-on to configure, implement/deploy, and maintain hardware for computer systems, servers, and networking solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support to end users on a variety of issues in a mixed environment- performing full-cycle support through Identification, research, and resolve technical problems.
• Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
• Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

• May require an associates degree in a related area and some professional experience in the field or in a related area.
• Possess knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Have experience working with technology hands-on (troubleshooting, configuration, and repair/replacement)
