Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Spary, NE (must be able to sit on-site)
Contract Length: Tentative, projecting 6 months to start
Shift: 1st shift Mon - Fri (subject to change)
Job Description: CLIENT is looking for Data Center techs for their 24/7 data center. This is a great opportunity to take company trainings and work on expanding technical knowledge. Job responsibilities include:
- Monitoring phones, emails and doors for any issues that may come up
- Install fiber jumpers, run cabling
- Receiving and moving materials within data center
- Troubleshooting with tech support
Requirements:
- Some technical background, even if tech school. But something to demonstrate technical interest and aptitude.
- Basic computer skills: needs to be functional in Excel, Word, Power Point, email, calendars.
- Physical – must be able to climb ladders, lift/move up to 75 pounds and work in tight spaces.
- MUST be willing to work flexible hours.
