Title: Datacenter Operations Technician
Contract Length: 6 months to start
Location: Hermiston, OR
Pay Rate: up to 26/hr
Shift(s): NIGHT SHIFT- Wed - Sat, or Sun - Wed
- Hours of Operation are 5p - 6a
Summary: These technicians will be supporting the datacenter support and maintenance of various systems surrounding the operations of the datacenters on the technical end. Datacenter Technicians will be working hands-on to configure, implement/deploy, and maintain hardware for computer systems, servers, and networking solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues in a mixed environment- performing full-cycle support through Identification, research, and resolve technical problems.
- Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
Requirements:
- May require an associate's degree in a related area and some professional experience in the field or in a related area.
- Possess knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Have experience working with technology hands-on (troubleshooting, configuration, and repair/replacement)
