Job Title: Desktop Support Technician (On-Site)
Our client is looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician who is highly experienced with MacOS devices to join their team and provide top-tier technical support for their local offices. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our IT systems while supporting critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site desktop support services in line with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with remediation efforts for Wired Network Access Control projects.
- Experience with migration and refresh initiatives, including backup, imaging, deployment, and encryption tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer systems, hardware, printers, and peripherals.
- Coordinate and manage hardware repairs with vendors as needed.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with ticket submitters to resolve issues and provide updates.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- MacOS troubleshooting experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with tools like JAMF, and encryption platforms such as BitLocker or FileVault.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Proficiency in backing up, imaging, deploying, and securing systems.
- A proactive and customer-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
