Position: Digital Media & Training Designer
Location: Ocoee, FL
Duration: 6 Months (likely to extend)
Pay Rate Range: $22-$27/hr.
Project Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
50-60% of the time working on courses
Refreshing soft files - courses, PowerPoints, booklets
Ensuring objectives are still valid and content makes sense
Revise and enhance in-house instructional materials, including training guides, lesson plans, and visual aids for e-learning, instructor-led, and self-paced formats.
Producing media content, user interface design, and other specifications to meet diverse needs, including but not limited to photography, videography, and audio production.
Develop digital media and training assets using approved applications to deliver engaging experiences.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure materials align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Research and implement the latest trends in talent development, instructional design, and learning theory.
Ensure visual assets and training content align with organizational branding and maintain a cohesive style.
Translate business requirements into media assets to meet objectives.
Coordinate digital media development and ensure integration across technologies.
Maintain and organize training libraries in cloud storage.
Evaluate and recommend tools to produce and enhance digital media content.
Develop prototypes and gather user feedback to improve usability.
Requirements:
1. 3 years of experience in Instructional Design
2. Has worked in a corporate environment
3. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PremierePro, Photoshop, etc.)
4. MS Office Suite
Plusses:
1. Training/Facilitation experience
2. Videography/Photography background
3. Articulate 360

- What is the scope of work that is being completed?
- Liaison between the training department and digital media team
- Looking for someone who has instructional design background
- Facilitation or training background would be great
- Currently have very old training materials so needing to do a complete refresh of soft files.
- Including over 200 courses, PowerPoints, booklets etc.
- Materials include soft skills/culture training like building a better team, building trust in a team etc.
- Ensure that objectives are still valid, and the content makes sense
- Adobe creative suite would be great
- Articulate 360 - implementing that next year. Would be a huge plus.
