About the Position
APEX SYSTEMS is seeking an experienced High-Voltage Electrical Designer to join our team in the US Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division in Middletown, RI.
About the Team
- You will be part of a collaborative team working on various electrical designs from concept stage to fabrication.
- Our team is integral in developing present and future leading-edge USN weapons systems capabilities.
- You will design and test electronic systems for embedded underwater applications, custom data acquisition systems, and automated test hardware for land-based testing of naval systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits and systems using schematic capture tools.
- Develop and execute test plans for new designs and document results.
- Design and document systems and circuits in OrCAD, Eagle, Visio, Altium, or PADS.
- Troubleshoot large-scale systems and individual components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience.
- Experience with electronic design, analysis, and testing.
- Familiarity with System Engineering concepts.
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
