Position: Construction Engineer
Location: Branchburg, NJ (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 30 Months
The role requires a hybrid work model with 4 days remote and 1 day on-site, or 3 days remote and 2 days on-site in rotation.
Job Title:
Engineer III
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct outside plant contract engineers and construction contractors.
- Proficient in GSuite and MS applications including spreadsheets, documents, and email.
- Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues in outside plant fiber optic cable projects in collaboration with peers, contractors, utilities, and municipalities.
- Maintain a professional and courteous appearance and demeanor at all times while representing Verizon.
- Utilize personal vehicle for job-related functions in the field.
Job Duties:
- Work with OSP engineering staff to complete OSP implementation on-time and on-budget.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in outside plant fiber optic engineering/construction or project management.
