Job Title: Business Management Consultant

Location: New York, New York (HYBRID) Three days onsite

Contract: 12 months working on Apex System's W2

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Management Consultant with expertise in variance analysis, FP&A, creating financial statements, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and experience in complex formula creation, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Perform Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support decision-making processes.
• Create, maintain, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Execute reconciliations to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Manage and manipulate large datasets using advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, providing valuable financial insights and support.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in global markets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in variance analysis, FP&A, financial statement creation, and reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested formulas).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in engaging with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Candidates do not need to have a background in financial services but must possess the required financial skills and experience.
• An Excel test will be administered as part of the first interview to assess technical proficiency.
