Full Stack Engineer (Mid-Level - React & PHP)

5 days onsite to start for the first month, then 3 days onsite 2 days remote

Our client is a stock trading firm headquartered in Federal Way, WA that provides funding to aspiring traders based on their initial trading performance in an evaluation account. They are integrating their new website with their existing backend. They are seeking a skilled junior to mid-level software engineer (2 years of professional experience as a software engineer required) for a 6-month contract to hire which is likely to convert to a permanent role with strong performance during the first 6 months.
Why the need :
- They used a third-party provider to build a new website for them. They are now in the process of integrating the front end of this new website with their backend stack and need additional support.
- You will need to take ideas and create / deploy them. Will be in charge of broker accounts, use APIs, build new challenges for traders, and take on additional tasks - i.e. competitions, leaderboards, and giveaway announcements.
Required Professional Skillset :
Duration : 6 months (likely to convert)
Shift : Important note, this role will begin as a standard 8am-5pm role during the first month while ramping up and being onsite 5 days per week. After the role becomes hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote) they are looking for someone who can begin work remotely at 5 : 30am PST, an hour before the trading day begins to ensure everything works well as the trading day begins. Then you commute in around 7 : 30am-8 : 30am on the 3 onsite days per week. You will be paid for this commuting time and it will be included in your workday hours. You will work until roughly 2 : 30pm from there so it is still a total of 9 hours with a 1-hour lunch.
