Job Title : Cyber Security Analyst (focus on Incident Response)
Location : New Braunfels - 100% remote (CST)
Job Type : 1 year contract to hire
Work Hours : 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm CST Monday through Friday
Overview : We are seeking a skilled Incident Response Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in analyzing and responding to alerts across various security tool environments. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with non-security IT staff to address security incidents and assist in reporting and tuning security tool alerting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and respond to alerts across multiple security tool environments, including :
- Identity Provider Tooling (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Okta, or SailPoint)
- Web Proxy (e.g., Netskope, Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella, Prisma)
- Email Filtering (e.g., Proofpoint, Avanan)
- Intrusion Prevention (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Securonix, Exabeam)
- Communicate and collaborate with non-security IT staff to address security incidents.
- Assist in reporting on security incidents and identifying security incident trends.
- Assist in tuning security tool alerting to improve accuracy and efficiency.
