We are seeking a passionate interaction designer / information architect who wants to join a team of design thinkers focused on creating experiences that help people. As an Interaction Designer, you will lead the UX team's efforts on projects to find the sweet spot between users needs and business goals for a portfolio of digital efforts that have multi-channel implications. You'll design solutions that are used daily by customers, and you'll have an opportunity to help them manage a critical part of their lives, their financial well-being.

Overview
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with UX teammates (UI designers, UX Researchers, Font-end UI Developers, Content Writers), business/product managers, IT teams, brand managers, analytics teams and leadership
- Participate in ideation, design, evaluation, and detailed specification for existing and future products or experiences including online and mobile applications
- Leverage a user-centered design process to design multi-channel experiences (including digital/mobile applications) for customers and associates
- Identify user types and understand their unique needs and scenarios for use
- Translate user, business and technical requirements into information architecture diagrams (storyboards, process/page flows, site maps)
- Create low-fidelity prototypes (sketches, wireframes, semi-functional prototypes) that will inform requirements discussions and support usability testing activities
- Lead UX team in presenting deliverables to clients/partners/executives
- Leverage experience design tools/methods to understanding both the full customer journey and detailed touch points that customers have with the brand
- Learn how people think about managing their financial well-being and how they interact with brands to do so
Skills Required
- Firm understanding of the user-centered design process and expert proficiency in interaction design tools and methods
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile first approach
- Balanced understanding of specialized UX skillsets (experience strategy, design research & usability, interaction and visual design, content strategy, front-end UI development)
- Knowledge of latest trends and UI conventions in the digital space and nuances between the most pervasive devices/platforms (smart devices, phone, tablet, desktop, Android and IOS)
- Familiar with ADA compliance, WCAG, usability standards and guidelines
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and experience using Axure (or equivalent) for prototyping
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, capable of organizing a team and facilitating towards alignment with partners
- Comfortable with ambiguity early in projects and able to take a leading role in driving towards a solution
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in design, information systems, digital communication, human factors or human-computer interaction, library sciences or equivalent related experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and testing digital experiences
- Ability to works on multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a mature ability to prioritize and manage time
- Experience working within both agile and waterfall IT development environments
- Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
