$50 - 60/HR PR
Position Description: Join Fords Customer engineering platform team responsible for providing Web and eCommerce solutions that power the online consumer experiences for vehicle lines, parts & accessories, subscriptions, etc., across all Ford global markets. This engineer would be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable microservices using a combination of Java and Google cloud platform technology stack. This software engineer with work with other developers all contributing to Ford's next-gen eCommerce ecosystem
Skills Required:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA, to design and develop a scalable microservices platform.
Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and testable code that adheres to industry best practices and standards.
Handle operational issues with little or no oversight.
Actively review code to ensure the software quality and functional accuracy is maintained across the team.
Keen to learn the design and architecture of the product
Education Required: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer science and related specialities
