Position : Jira Architect

Location : Merritt Island, FL

Duration : 6 month Contract-to-Hire

Rate Range ? : $55-80 / hour

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Jira Administrator with experience in system integrations and migrations. The successful candidate will manage the setup and administration of our Jira environment, ensuring data availability and seamless communication with internal customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• System Integration : Lead the consolidation of Jira systems from Europe and the US into a unified environment based in the US.
• Jira Administration : Set up and manage the Jira environment, including creating and maintaining Jira projects as requested by internal customers.
• Data Management : Ensure data from the European Jira system is available and accessible to US-based teams.
• Customer Interaction : Serve as the technical point of contact for Jira-related queries and issues, providing excellent customer service and support.
• Project Planning : Develop and manage project plans, ensuring all deliverables and milestones are met.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other teams and managers impacted by the integration project to ensure smooth transitions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

Must-Have Qualifications :

1.3-5 years of Jira administration experience.

2.Strong customer-facing experience.

3.Familiarity with O365.

4.Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications :

1.Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly with DOD projects.

2.Knowledge of AWS.

3.Experience with Salesforce.

4.Familiarity with SolidWorks.
