Lab Technician III
We are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Lab Technician. This role offers the opportunity to start at an entry-level position with the potential to advance to a Tier 3 Lab Technician, specializing in microbiology.
Location: Hunt Valley, MD
Job Type: Full-time, Onsite
Schedule: 6am-2pm, 5 days a week (flexible schedule including potential weekend work)
Contract: 6 months Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare microbiological media
- Weigh samples for testing
- Operate autoclaves and manage media processes
- Clean and sterilize media and waste
- Wash labware (glassware)
- Perform swabs and other testing procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (recent graduates welcome)
- 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required
- Previous lab experience is ideal
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Dynamic and personable fit
Interview Process:
