What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Apex Systems?
Seeking a Lab Tech to join a Chemical company in the Barto, PA area.
Production :
- Work with GC (FID or TCD detectors) and Moisture / Oxygen Analyzers.
- Maintains quality control records and log books. Prepares analytical reports as required.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned by local plant management.
- Operates selected purification systems over different shifts and days of the week.
- Performs analysis of pure gases and gas mixtures.
- Prepares analytical reports as required.
- Samples and analyzes incoming bulk deliveries, storage tanks, sample cylinders, stock cylinders and product cylinders for quality control purposes.
- Maintains laboratory equipment in good working order. Capable of performing simple instrument maintenance.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned by local plant management.
