Title: Lead Software Engineer (Backend .NET)
Project/Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Tech Lead to join our enterprise development team at one of the largest cruise companies in the US. This role involves leading a team of senior backend developers, managing backend resources, and performing code reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the .NET stack and experience in technical leadership. Responsibilities:
- Work hands-on with development using .NET Core, creating new applications and APIs
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems and methodologies
- Lead and manage a team of 2-3 senior backend developers.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the backend for our mobile application, including 30 APIs and extending microservices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Spend 70% of the time on hands-on development and 20-30% on team coordination and solutioning.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Assist in the migration to .NET Core (.NET 8).
- Work with a wide-array of technologies: .NET Core, Microservices, APIs, Azure, SQL, JavaScript, and more.
Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams and management on project updates
- Strong experience with .NET Development and .NET Core
- Strong Experience with API Development and microservices.
- Experience with frontend tools such as ASP.NET, JavaScript, and/or HTML/CSS.
- Ability to lead a team and mentor others.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
