What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Assembler position at Apex Systems?
Work Hours:
The standard work hours for this position are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. However, we anticipate that employees will be required to work an additional 10-15 hours of overtime per week, including weekends.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electromechanical assembly technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and mechanical systems, with a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Assemble electromechanical cabinets and sub-assemblies.
- Interpret 3D models and solve problems as needed.
- Deal with PVC Teflon and other plastic tubing.
- Pneumatic/pumps/valves/drivers setup and troubleshooting.
- Schematics/blueprint reading.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, such as CAT, Booms, construction equipment, HVAC, or automotive hydraulics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Lifting Requirement: 50 lbs.
