About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in a sustainment role with a focus on building and publishing data pipelines. This position involves a mix of coding and monitoring data, as well as providing technical support to a less technical team. You will also mentor a junior developer and ensure the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.
This role is going to be onsite in Orlando FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and publish data pipelines.
- Monitor data and provide technical support to the team.
- Assist and mentor a junior developer.
- Collaborate with the team to solve technical questions.
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of data processes.
Required Technologies and Experience:
- Python: Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
- GitHub: Experience with version control and collaboration using GitHub.
- Docker: Ability to containerize applications using Docker.
- Snowflake: Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing.
- Apache Airflow: Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with GitLab for CI/CD processes.
