Position: Network Project Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA
30 Month Contract
Must-Have Skills (Most Important):
- Minimum of 7 years of wireless network experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a project manager or in a role requiring project management.
- Ability to provide technical support, engineering, and project management functions for large and complex network plans.
- Effective management of multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Identification of technical processes and procedures to accomplish projects accurately and timely.
- Ability to work closely with other network teams and vendors to complete projects according to procedures and applicable Statements of Work.
- Collaboration with Test Vendor(s) to define test plans, set priorities, and provide necessary training and test procedures.
- Ability to identify issues, research, and manage resources to determine root cause and issue resolution.
- Provide updates on key milestones and network performance metrics to Territory Project Managers and management.
- Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Expertise in Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience with projects requiring cross-functional team efforts with various wireless network teams, including Translations, Transport, Network Operations, and Numbering Administration.
- Experience with wireless 911, including test vendor management, technology migration, and location accuracy performance.
- Act as a coordinator on 911 projects with a national scope and policy.
- Support different projects requiring project management expertise, including PSAP migrations to NG911 networks and from TDM to Basic SIP or SIP i3.
- Manage the installation of required facilities, numbering resources, PSAP test requirements, and test vendor management.
- College degree or equivalent technical work experience.
- Remote work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Not required to be physically located in Georgia.
