Title: Product Manager
Pay Rate: Up to $70.hr
Location: Remote but Local to Cincinnati, OH – Preferred
Type: 18-month contract
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of experience in the payments industry, including card brand networks and debit networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
- Familiarity with compliance and integration
- Experience with platform consolidation
Position Overview: This role supports Merchant Solutions Development, specifically a platform consolidation initiative aimed at simplifying the landscape.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present requirements that identify concise scope, risks, challenges, opportunities, and growth strategies.
- Communicate and adhere to product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery.
- Monitor and report on key commercial KPIs (e.g., adoption, revenue) tied to the Merchant Acquiring platform.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering and Compliance teams to ensure product success, deliver regular stakeholder updates, and foster a best-in-class working environment.
- Collaborate with senior management, complete business scope documents, and manage key vendor relationships as needed.
Requirements, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of product strategy, payments industry, and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of payments, including experience with card brand networks and debit networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
- 3-5 years of experience in the card payments industry
- Familiarity with compliance and integration
- Relevant experience with companies such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cybersource, or PayPal
